If you’re dreaming of a magical moment in the company of a horse or pony, head for Saint-Jean-de-Monts, 30 kilometers from the Lac du Jaunay campsite. After crossing the river Vie and skirting the salt marshes of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, you’ll arrive at an enchanting place, entirely dedicated to horse riding: the Havre de Vie equestrian club.
With its forest, arena and covered riding arenas, this vast center offers a host of activities for both members and day visitors.
A range of activities for riders of all levels
Looking for a relaxing break with family, friends or your partner? Treat yourself to a ride on the beach, in the marshes or in the forest: the Havre de Vie horse riding club organizes one- to two-hour horse rides, as well as half-day or full-day excursions.
Prefer to work on your riding technique? Book your introductory session, hourly lessons or advanced course. All club activities are supervised by state-certified professionals.

Practical information:
Open all year round
11 € (hand ride on Shetland), 22 € (one-hour session on Shetland), 25 € (one-hour session on horse and large pony), 35 € (1.5-hour ride in the forest for adult riders), 42 € (2-hour ride between forest and marsh for experienced riders), 45 € (2-hour ride on the beach).
